This painting is naive yet well done and charming, it depicts a child with a red dress and necklace with a horse pull toy standing on what looks like it might be a porch. The style of the painting is 1830s but in my opinion it is circa 1900s. The Miniature Painting is in an gold wood frame and is complete with glass and in very good overall condition. There is a bit of gold paint missing on the outside of the frame. This delightful painting would be a wonderful addition to a Folk Art collection.
